Michelle Simpson is a full-time professional illustrator. She has illustrated over 20 children’s books and has worked with a large number of publishing companies. Some notable/recent publications include The Dancing Trees by Masiana Kelly (Inhabit Media), Genie Meanie by Mahtab Narsimhan (Orca Books), Secrets of the Desert by Hawys Morgan (HarperCollins Publishers).

 

Michelle has also worked as a concept artist at KeyFrame Animation for kids cartoons such as Ollie: The Boy Who Became What He Ate (season 2) and Tee and Mo (season 1).

 

Michelle learned her craft at Sheridan College graduating with a BAA in Illustration in 2014. She has been drawing ever since she can remember; her dream was always to become an illustrator.
